Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Customer," "you," or "your") and NovaSatus ("NovaSatus," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of our corporate mobility services, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • "Services" means all transportation and mobility services provided by NovaSatus, including hourly rentals, airport transfers, outstation transfers, and MICE fleet management.
  • "Customer" means any individual or corporate entity that books or uses our Services.
  • "Booking" means a confirmed reservation for transportation services.
  • "Driver" means the professional chauffeur assigned to provide transportation services.
  • "Vehicle" means the automobile provided for transportation services.
  • "Trip" means the transportation service from pickup to drop-off location.

Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration and booking
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Corporate customers must be authorized representatives of their organizations with the authority to enter into agreements on behalf of their companies.

Service Description

Hourly Rentals

Flexible car rentals charged on a per-hour basis with a minimum booking period of 4 hours. Additional hours are charged proportionally. Includes driver services and fuel within city limits.

Airport Transfers

Fixed-price airport pickup and drop services with flight tracking. No waiting charges for flight delays. Excludes meet-and-greet services and luggage assistance.

Outstation Transfers

Inter-city transportation charged per kilometer. Includes driver allowance, fuel, and toll charges. Available for one-way (limited cities) and round-trip bookings.

MICE Fleet Management

Large-scale event transportation for corporate meetings, conferences, and events. Includes dedicated coordinator, real-time tracking, and customized logistics.

Booking and Reservations

Booking Process

  • Bookings can be made through our website, app, Whatsapp, phone, or email
  • All bookings are subject to vehicle availability
  • You will receive a booking confirmation with trip details
  • Booking confirmation constitutes acceptance of these Terms

Booking Modifications

  • Modifications must be requested at least 2 hours before scheduled pickup
  • Subject to availability and may incur additional charges
  • Changes to vehicle type may affect pricing
  • Contact our customer service team for modifications

Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation: More than 2 hours before scheduled pickup
  • 50% charge: 1-2 hours before scheduled pickup
  • 100% charge: Less than 1 hour before scheduled pickup or no-show
  • MICE bookings may have different cancellation terms as specified in the contract

Pricing and Payment

Transparent Pricing

All pricing is transparent with no hidden charges:

  • Base fare clearly stated at booking
  • All applicable taxes excluded in quoted price. GST @ 18% will be applicable on all services
  • Toll and parking charges (if applicable) will be disclosed separately on actuals
  • No surge pricing or dynamic pricing
  • No hidden fuel surcharges

Payment Terms

  • Payment accepted via credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, or corporate account
  • Corporate customers may be offered credit terms subject to approval
  • Invoices issued within 24 hours of trip completion
  • Payment due as per agreed terms (immediate or net 30/60 days for corporate)
  • Late payment may incur interest charges as per applicable law

Additional Charges

The following additional charges may apply:

  • Waiting time beyond grace period (disclosed upfront) and driver batta
  • Toll charges for outstation trips
  • Parking fees at destination (if applicable)
  • Cleaning charges for excessive soiling of vehicle
  • Damage charges for customer-caused vehicle damage

Customer Responsibilities

Accurate Information

You must provide accurate and complete information including pickup/drop locations, contact details, and special requirements.

Conduct

Customers must:

  • Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
  • Not engage in illegal activities during trips
  • Not smoke or consume alcohol in vehicles (unless permitted)
  • Not damage or soil vehicles
  • Follow driver instructions regarding safety
  • Comply with vehicle capacity limits

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited in vehicles:

  • Illegal substances or contraband
  • Hazardous materials or explosives
  • Weapons (unless legally authorized)
  • Items that may damage the vehicle
  • Pets (unless pre-approved)

Service Delays

While we strive for punctuality, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of significant delays and make reasonable efforts to minimize inconvenience.

Liability and Insurance

Vehicle Insurance

All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance as required by Indian law, including third-party liability coverage.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • NovaSatus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific trip
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or force majeure
  • We are not liable for personal belongings left in vehicles

Customer Liability

Customers are liable for damage to vehicles caused by their actions or negligence, including cleaning costs for excessive soiling.

Lost and Found

We will make reasonable efforts to return lost items. However, we are not responsible for items left in vehicles. Report lost items within 24 hours of trip completion.

Complaints and Disputes

Complaint Process

  • Submit complaints within 48 hours of trip completion
  • Contact our customer service team via phone or email
  • Provide booking reference and details of the issue
  • We will investigate and respond within 5 business days

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our Services, including logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and software, is the property of NovaSatus and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for details.

Termination

By Customer

You may stop using our Services at any time. Corporate accounts may be closed subject to settlement of outstanding payments.

By NovaSatus

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Fail to make payments
  • Abuse or harass our drivers or staff
  • Damage our vehicles or property

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, riots, government actions, pandemics, or other force majeure events.

Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and NovaSatus regarding the use of our Services.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
